On 29 May 2024, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksandr Lytvynenko paid an official visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

During the visit, Oleksandr Lytvynenko held talks with Secretary General of the National Security Council of Türkiye Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu. The parties agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation between the NSDC of Ukraine and the General Secretariat of the National Security Council of the Republic of Türkiye.

The day before, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with Baykar Chairman of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar and Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar, and took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the tomb of the founder of the Republic of Türkiye Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in Ankara.
