• The State Secretary of the MFA of Ukraine visited Türkiye and met with deputy ministers for trade, foreign affairs, and business representatives. 

• The Ukrainian film "Stepne" opened the European Cinema Days in Türkiye.

• President Zelenskyy participated in the special meeting of the European Council.

• Germany pledged to provide an additional Patriot, IRIS-T and Skynex systems. 

• Within the framework of the 9th Summit of the Three Seas Initiative, President Zelenskyy met with the leaders of Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Poland. 

• Prime Minister Shmyhal is on working visit to the US.

• Ukraine opened new embassies in Ghana, Mozambique, Cote d'Ivoire, Botswana. 

• Ukraine and Bulgaria held the Second Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimea Platform in Sofia. 

• Ukraine and Latvia signed a Security Agreement. 

• Ukraine and Montenegro agree on “transport visa-free regime” for freight transport. 

• Denmark announced the 17th military aid package to Ukraine.

Home and Frontline
• Total Russian combat losses since February 24, 2022 – to April 19, 2024, are: personnel – 457 830, tanks – 7 205, ACV – 13 852, artillery system – 11 658.

• President Zelenskyy signed mobilization bill that was recently adopted by Ukraine’s Parliament.

• Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine predicts this year’s harvest of grains and oilseeds at about 74 million tonnes. 

• Around 156,000 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory could be contaminated with landmines and unexploded ordnance. 

• Ukrainian Air forces shot down 29 aerial targets last night including 1 Tu-22M3 strategic bomber (NATO name - Backfire).
