On 1-3 March 2024, the Antalya Diplomatic Forum was held in Antalya, where Ukraine was represented by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi.

The main topic of discussion at the forum was international security issues with a special focus on Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

At the opening of the event, the Turkish leadership called on the international community to make significant efforts to ensure peace in the region and end Russia's war against Ukraine. Türkiye declares its commitment to the role of mediator in resolving the ongoing war.

The forum included a panel discussion on the Russian-Ukrainian war and its impact on the region, entitled: "Black Sea: Regional Responsibility Version 2.0?".

Deputy Minister Mykola Tochytskyi called for international support for Ukraine to establish a stable peace in the region. Key attention was paid to the ongoing war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the need to implement President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula. He also highlighted  Türkiye's important role in this process, especially in ensuring food security and freedom of navigation.

The panelists, including representatives from Romania, Türkiye and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organisation, agreed on the need for more productive cooperation to consolidate the international community's efforts to stop Russia's aggression.

In addition, on the sidelines of the forum, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mykola Tochytskyi met with Turkish partners and representatives of foreign countries, including Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, the EU, Luxembourg, Brazil, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Ghana and Senegal.
