During her visit to Ukraine on 14–15 May 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Ambassador Berris Ekinci held separate meetings with Sergiy Kyslytsya, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine; Taras Kachka, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine; Yegor Perelygin, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine; Artem Rybchenko, Deputy Minister for Communities and Territorial Development of Ukraine; Anatolii Kutsevol, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine; Sergiy Boyev, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine; Olha Kuryshko, Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as well as representatives of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and the Ukrainian Gagauz Union.

During the meetings, the parties discussed a broad range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including the further development of the Ukrainian-Turkish strategic partnership, cooperation in the fields of security, energy, economy, and Ukraine’s reconstruction, as well as interaction in the context of supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The outcomes of the meetings confirmed the readiness of Ukraine and the Republic of Türkiye to further deepen their strategic partnership and expand practical cooperation in priority areas.
