Today, on 4 June 2024, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Türkiye Vasyl Bodnar met with the President of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, Professor Ocal Oguz.

The parties discussed the possibilities of joint cultural projects, in particular on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Ukraine's membership in UNESCO.

‘In connection with this year's commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Deportation of the Crimean Tatars, we are starting to present the intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine in Türkiye with the Crimean Tatar Ornek ornament,’ Vasyl Bodnar said.
