On 17 April 2024, during his visit to Türkiye, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleksandr Bankov met with the leadership of the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEIK) and the Ukrainian-Turkish Business Council. The participants underlined the positive dynamics of bilateral trade between Ukraine and Türkiye despite the Russian aggression and expressed hope for further growth in trade turnover as the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement is completed. 

Oleksandr Bankov emphasised the commitment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Ukraine to intensify dialogue with the business community of Türkiye to support and strengthen mutually beneficial bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation and use the tools of economic diplomacy.  

Particular attention was paid to the benefits of using the electronic international platform NAZOVNI to stimulate bilateral trade. 

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine invited Turkish companies to participate in international events aimed at rebuilding Ukraine and to participate in relevant projects in our country.
