Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, within the framework of his working visit to Türkiye, held meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, and the Head of the National Intelligence Organization, İbrahim Kalın.

The parties discussed current security challenges in the region, the progress of negotiation processes, and further coordination of efforts in light of the situation on the frontline and the broader regional context.

Special attention was given to humanitarian issues, in particular the return of Ukrainian citizens from Russian captivity.
